Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Entrio collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use this ticketing platform on behalf of the event organiser ("the Organiser"), in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law.
1. What we collect
Account and booking details you give us directly — your name, mobile number, email address, and delivery address where applicable.
Verification data — a one-time password (OTP) sent to your mobile number to confirm your identity for account creation, checkout and ticket collection.
Transaction data — the tickets, tiers and amounts you purchase, and payment status. We do not collect or store your full card, UPI or bank details; these are handled directly by our payment partner.
Technical data — device and browser information, IP address, and usage data collected automatically to keep the platform secure and working correctly.
2. How we use your data
We use your data to create and manage your account, process bookings and payments, generate and deliver tickets and entry QR codes, verify your identity at collection or entry, communicate booking updates by SMS, WhatsApp or email, and provide customer support.
We also use aggregated, non-identifying data to improve the platform and to detect and prevent fraud or misuse.
3. Who we share it with
We share the minimum data necessary with the Organiser running the event you booked (to fulfil your booking and manage entry), with our payment partner (to process payment), with SMS/WhatsApp/notification providers (to deliver booking updates), and with delivery partners where you choose home delivery. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Data retention
We retain your account and booking data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet accounting, tax and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request earlier deletion, subject to those obligations.
5. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you have the right to access, correct and erase your personal data, and to withdraw consent and file a grievance. To exercise these rights, contact the Organiser or Entrio using the details on the Contact page.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures — including encryption of sensitive data at rest — to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we encourage you to keep your account credentials confidential.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
